Carol S. Lee, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Psychology Dr. Lee (she/her/hers) is a clinical psychologist. Her research primarily focuses on identifying and examining the relations between mechanisms of therapeutic exposures for anxiety-related disorders in adults. Put simply, she is interested in examining how and why therapy works. Through this research, she hopes to find methods of refining therapies for improved treatment outcomes. She also has a secondary program of research focused on increasing the accessibility and dissemination of evidence-based strategies for managing stress and anxiety. Clinically speaking, Dr. Lee is trained in cognitive-behavioral, behavioral, and acceptance-based modalities (e.g. ABBT, CBT, CBGT, DBT, PE, CPT) for anxiety disorders, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder. Self-Care: For self-care, Dr. Lee loves to go hiking and rock climbing outside or cozy up by a fire with her two dogs while reading a good book. |
